Katie came to TEL from the  Brookline/Brighton JCC Early Learning Center where she taught preschool for five years, before assuming the role of assistant director in 2021. She brings 19 years of experience working with families and children including nine years at the Ruffin Ridley School in Brookline, where she served as both an educator and an assistant director of their After School program.  Katie holds a Bachelor’s in English with a minor in education from the College of Wooster as well as a Master’s  in Child and Family Services from Wheelock College. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, traveling and volunteering.
