Children’s Library

A GATEWAY TO LITERACY

Our Library houses nearly 700 children’s books and serves as a vital resource for our students. Children ages 3 to 5 learn how to use and navigate a space they will turn to throughout their education and their lifetimes. When students arrive at Kindergarten already familiar with the library, they feel supported and confident as they progress in school. Our children have library time with their educators and our Speech and Language therapist weekly, listening to engaging stories while learning early literacy skills including language acquisition, vocabulary, letter recognition, print awareness and comprehension. The library is not just a place to read; it’s a gateway to exploration and imagination, empowering our youngest learners to discover the world through books.
